Amelia Milo is an actress, singer, songwriter and recent graduate of Brown University. There, Amelia studied Italian, psychology, neuroscience, theater arts and classical music. As a child and teen, Amelia frequently sang the National Anthem and God Bless America at CitiField, Shea Stadium, and the Fedex Forum. At 14, she starred as Ariel In Disney’s Broadway Workshop of The Little Mermaid. Later, she acted and sang in the feature film Les Misérables directed by Tom Hooper. While still in college, Amelia had the pleasure to work on tour with Kristin Chenoweth as a back-up singer. In addition, she has performed at Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night in both Italy and the United States where she had the opportunity to work with Maestro Andrea Bocelli and the great David Foster among others.

Amelia’s voice has also been featured at the Italian film festival in a movie called Il Giorno Piu Bello. After taking a sabbatical from Brown to film a teen movie musical, Amelia completed her degree at the Università di Bologna “Brown in Bologna” program and became fluent in Italian. A player of both guitar and piano, Amelia is currently working on her first album and has just released her first single, “filter free”; a song that explores the damaging pressures of social media. After receiving much positive feedback, she is excited to release more of her music this year. As a human rights activist, Amelia has avidly supported such programs as The Trevor Project and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, and is currently working with Carson Daly’s Project Healthy Minds.

After having 13 surgeries throughout her childhood due to a debilitating bone cyst, Amelia is determined to give back and believes that the arts have the power to heal and transform. Whether acting, singing or composing , Amelia’s mission as an artist is always to inspire a more empathic world.
